Meet the Wolf Family
We, Gene & Rose, own and operate our Great Earth Vitamin Store, truly a mom & pop business. We are blessed with two sons, Lee, & Allen, now early 20's and they sometimes help us in the store. Previously in Meadowmont, our store is now located in Harry's Market at Whitecross.
We've been married 28-years (just newlyweds). Rose is a native to North Carolina and a UNC Graduate. Gene moved to North Carolina in 1979. We met at a local church and two years later we were married.
We have adopted the goal: to make a positive contribution to the overall health and well-being of our Research Triangle Park community. We feel we can accomplish this goal in three areas:
- Provide only high quality nutritional supplements,
- Develop a referral network of other healthcare professionals, and
- Encourage, promote and provide health and nutritional education.
All of us: Gene, Rose, Lee, & Allen are IACET (International Association for Continuing Education Training) Certified Dietary Supplement Specialists (CDSS). Each month we spend countless hours in ongoing nutrition research and education. We are active members of the Chapel Hill / Carrboro Chamber of Commerce*, and the Chapel Hill Leads Group. We're not doctors or pharmacists, but we have a large referral network of area health care professionals which we work with and call upon.
